StatMate More or Less Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is StatMate. Contact: support@statmate.com.au

  2. Competition Overview

The StatMate More or Less competition (Competition) is a free-to-enter game of skill conducted via the StatMate app and available to be entered  by registered users of StatMate. Eligible participants can make daily predictions to earn leaderboard points and compete for prizes.

  3. Eligibility

    1. Entry is open to registered users of StatMate who are residents of Australia and are aged 18 years or over.

    2. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter or its related entities are not eligible to enter the Competition.

    3. Entry is free and does not require any payment.

  4. Competition Period

    1. The Competition commences and runs daily on Thursday, 30th July 2026 (12:01AM AEDT) and runs to Sunday, 2nd August 2026 (11:59PM AEDT) (Competition Period).

    2. The Promoter may, at its discretion, extend, suspend, or cancel any Competition Period, or cancel this Competition altogether.

  5. How to Enter

    1. During each day of the Competition Period, a “More or Less” tipping feature will be available on the StatMate app. Each “More or Less” will consist of 5 questions about individual player performance related to a particular sporting match or event and 1 Tiebreaker question.

    2. To enter, participants must:

      • During the Competition Period, access the “More or Less” tipping feature within the StatMate app.

      • For each “More or Less”, make five (5) predictions by selecting either the “More” or “Less” outcome in response to each player statistic question AND one (1) tiebreaker prediction by selecting the exact number of disposals a specific player will collect and then press “Submit” to confirm their selections. Entries must be submitted prior to the relevant sporting match commencing.

      • Selections may be edited up until the commencement of the relevant sporting match commencing, however edited entries are only considered valid entries if submitted using the “Submit” button to confirm edited selections.

    3. Each correct prediction contributes a point to the participant’s leaderboard total. The tiebreaker prediction does not score points. It is used only to separate participants who are tied on total correct predictions, as set out in section 7.

    4. Only one (1) entry per “More or Less” tipping feature per person per day during the Competition Period is permitted.

6. Prizes

  1. On completion of each daily More or Less game, the following prize will be awarded for that game:

    • 1st place: AUD $250 Prezzee Mastercard Digital Gift Card

  2. A fresh game runs on each match day, and a separate prize is awarded for each daily game.

  3. Total value of prize per daily game: AUD $250.

7. Determination of Winners

  1. At the end of each daily More or Less game, participants will be ranked on that game's leaderboard based on the total number of correct predictions (out of five), subject to the tiebreaker below.

  2. The top‑ranked participant(s) on the leaderboard at the end of the game will be declared the winner(s) and will receive the prize for that game.

  3. Tiebreaker. Where two (2) or more participants are tied on the same number of correct predictions in a position affecting prize allocation, the tie will be resolved in favour of the participant whose tiebreaker prediction is closest to the actual value of the nominated statistic (i.e. the smallest absolute difference between the participant's tiebreaker prediction and the confirmed result).

  4. Where participants remain tied after the tiebreaker has been applied (for example, where tied participants submitted the same tiebreaker prediction, or predictions that are equally close to the actual value), those tied participants will split the aggregate value of the affected prize equally.

  5. The leaderboard and prize distribution will be finalised by the Promoter. All decisions are final and binding.

8. Notification and Prize Delivery

  1. Winners will be notified via the email address associated with their registered StatMate account after completion of the relevant Competition Period, within 96 hours of leaderboard finalisation.

  2. Prizes will be delivered electronically within 10 business days of notification, to the nominated email address associated with the winners registered StatMate account.

  3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any delay, loss, or error arising from incorrect or outdated contact information.

  4. It is the responsibility of Competition participants to ensure their registered details are up to date prior to entering the Competition.

9. Verification and Disqualification

  1. The Promoter may require proof of identity, age, eligibility and any other reasonable information before awarding a prize.

  2. The Promoter may disqualify entries that are:

    • Incomplete or fraudulent or submitted by persons who have not otherwise complied with the StatMate terms and conditions of use, available here.

    • Submitted through automated means or by the same individual using multiple accounts; or

    • Otherwise, deemed to have breached these Terms and Conditions.

  3. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant it reasonably suspects of tampering with gameplay or leaderboard integrity.

10. Marketing and Promotion

  1. By entering, participants consent to the Promoter using their name, username, and/or likeness for promotional purposes in connection with the Competition, without further compensation.

  2. The Promoter’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  3. The Promoter may cancel or vary the Competition where circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.

  4. If for any reason all or some prizes are not awarded, those prizes will not carry over to any future similar competitions.

  5. If a featured player in a daily More or Less question does not play, that question will be VOID and will not count towards scoring for any participant in that game.

  6. If the nominated tiebreaker player does not play, the tiebreaker for that game will be VOID. Where a void tiebreaker leaves a prize‑affecting tie unresolved, the tied participants will split the aggregate value of the affected prize equally.

  7. These terms and conditions form the basis of an agreement made between StatMate and all Competition participants.

  8. StatMate is the conductor of the Competition.
