StatMate: Community Chat Guidelines:

Creating a respectful, insightful, and fun space for sports fans to connect.

1. Purpose of the Community

StatMate Chat exists to help users share insights, analyze stats, and learn from one another in a respectful environment. Everyone—whether casual or die hard sport fans — should feel welcome to participate.

2. Be Respectful

  • Treat all members with courtesy. Personal attacks, insults, or harassment will not be tolerated.

  • Disagreements are natural — but debate ideas, not people.

  • Avoid inflammatory, offensive, or discriminatory language.

3. Keep It Relevant

  • Discussions should relate to sports, stats, betting insights, or StatMate features.

  • Off-topic or spammy posts (including self-promotion, affiliate links, or unrelated content) will be removed.

  • Keep repetitive messages, flooding, or trolling out of the chat.

4. No Hate or Discrimination

  • Zero tolerance for hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination.

  • Do not post or share imagery, links, or text that promotes violence or hate.

5. No Financial Advice or Guarantees

  • StatMate is a data insights platform—not a gambling advisory service.

  • Users must not offer “sure bets,” sell picks, or provide misleading financial advice.

  • Always gamble responsibly and within your means.

6. Protect Your Privacy

  • Do not share personal or sensitive information (e.g., full name, address, banking details).

  • Do not share others’ personal details without consent.

7. Stay Legal & Ethical

  • Do not promote or organize illegal betting activities.

  • Follow all laws and platform terms related to gambling in your jurisdiction.

  • Do not impersonate StatMate staff, moderators, or other users.

8. Use of Language and Tone

  • Avoid excessive profanity or caps lock shouting.

  • Friendly banter is welcome—abuse is not.

9. Blocked Words

  • StatMate has a filter that results in certain words/phrases being automatically blocked from delivering via Chats .

  • If there is a word or phrase that you do not believe should be on the 'automod' block list, you are welcomed to raise it with the banter moderators or send an email to support@statmate.com.au

10. Moderation and Enforcement

  • Moderators reserve the right to warn, mute, or remove users who violate these guidelines.

  • Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
